
US-based cancer research and treatment organisation City of Hope has announced the opening of its newest location at One Scottsdale Medical in the US.
The facility spans approximately 30,000ft² on the first floor of a 101,136ft² medical building and is set to provide a range of oncology services, including radiation oncology, medical oncology exams, infusion treatments, and lab and imaging services.
The new City of Hope Cancer Care Scottsdale is an addition to the organisation’s presence in Arizona.
City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix president Dr Kevin Tulipana said: “The level of personalised, leading-edge care that our physicians and staff provide is nation leading and we want everyone to have access.
“That is why we have expanded our footprint throughout Arizona and why we are dedicated to serving everyone.”
It joins an established network including cancer hospital City of Hope Phoenix in Goodyear; outpatient care clinics in North Phoenix and Gilbert; and Phoenix-based affiliate conducting medical research and the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen).
Strategically located just north of the Loop 101, One Scottsdale Medical is easily accessible and surrounded by three hospitals, including HonorHealth Scottsdale Thompson Peak Medical Center.

The City of Hope Cancer Care Scottsdale is expected to bring over 50 jobs to the community.
The facility is designed to offer a comfortable and welcoming environment with features such as a grand main lobby entrance and 16ft. floor-to-ceiling heights.
One Scottsdale, where the new medical facility is located, is a 120-acre mixed-use development planned to encompass 2.86 million ft2 of commercial space, 2,000 residential units, and 400 hotel rooms.
The development of One Scottsdale Medical was undertaken by Ryan Companies, with architectural design by Ryan A+E.
