Craneware, a value cycle solutions provider for the healthcare industry, has entered a partnership with Microsoft, focusing on the latter’s Azure cloud platform along with technical innovation, and collaborative marketing efforts.
This alliance aims to bring enhanced offerings and added value to healthcare customers by leveraging AI, data analytics, and other modern technology.
Under the deal, Craneware’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) cloud-based platform, called ‘Trisus’, along with selected offerings, will be accessible on the Azure Marketplace.
In addition, the partnership saw Craneware sign a Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) agreement.
Some of the strategic benefits of the new partnership include budget optimisation, predictable cloud expenditure, and improved financial planning, which can lead to cost efficiencies via the MACC agreement.
The collaboration is set to accelerate the innovation of the Craneware Group’s solutions using Microsoft Azure’s tools and services.

By GlobalDataIt will also simplify the process for healthcare customers to acquire the Trisus Platform and products, which will be pre-configured for deployment on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Additionally, the partnership will expand Craneware’s cloud capabilities by providing access to more advanced features of Microsoft Azure.
Craneware teams are already working with Microsoft’s AI specialists to fast-track AI enhancements to Trisus offerings and explore new AI-based applications.
The initial set of Trisus applications is planned to be launched on the Microsoft commercial marketplace later this month and will include Trisus Decision Support, Trisus Chargemaster, and Trisus Labor Productivity.
Supported by joint “go-to-market” initiatives, these offerings are expected to broaden The Craneware Group’s market presence through the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
