By GlobalDataHEAL Security’s platform aims to offer protection for the healthcare industry by providing real-time, customised cyber threat intelligence to allow health systems to defend critical data, systems and personnel.
The real-time, actionable insights are intended to give healthcare providers the necessary tools to protect patient data amid the growing complexity of digital threats.
According to Health2047, HEAL Security’s platform will help hospitals and health systems protect against cybersecurity threats and safeguard the large amount of patient information their electronic health records (EHRs) possess.
HEAL Security founder and CEO Charles Aunger said: “Cybersecurity data sprawl has historically left hospital leaders navigating a labyrinth to assess and gather a true understanding of their risk of breach.
“Our platform synthesises, aggregates and contextualises this data, offering clarity and actionable strategies. Health2047’s investment empowers us to provide the healthcare sector with the requisite arsenal to safeguard patient data and continuity of care.”
Health2047’s portfolio also includes ventures such as Evidium, Medcurio, ScholarRx, SiteBridge Research, HOPPR, Phenomix Sciences and Zing Health.
Health2047 CEO Lawrence Cohen said: “Our investment in HEAL Security underscores Health2047’s commitment to building solutions that tackle these issues at the system level for the good of physicians and patients.”
