
DispatchHealth has signed a definitive merger agreement with Medically Home to create a combined entity focused on expanding access to hospital-level care at home across the US.
Upon completion of the deal, Medically Home will become part of DispatchHealth.
The merged entity plans to operate in 50 major metropolitan areas, working in collaboration with nearly 40 health systems, value-based care organisations and most health plans.
Both DispatchHealth and Medically Home did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
Subject to receipt of necessary regulatory approvals and closing conditions, the merger is anticipated to close by mid-2025.
The combined business will offer services ranging from same-day care for serious medical conditions to complex hospital-level treatment delivered directly in patients’ homes.

With the improved capabilities, the merged entity plans to free up more than 62,000 bed days, easing pressure on health systems and increasing patient access to quality in-home care.

Medically Home provides a hospital-at-home technology model that enables health systems and physician groups to deliver emergency and hospital-level care at home for eligible patients.
The company offers a complete system of clinical protocols, platform technology, and service fulfilment, supporting partners to safely manage patient care at home.

Founded in 2013, DispatchHealth specialises in delivering high-acuity, in-home medical care for patients with serious health concerns.
DispatchHealth partnered with US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) in November 2023 to improve patient outcomes and cut costs by expanding care access to support patients after their hospital stay with in-home care services.
