US-based health technology company Electronic Caregiver has partnered with Renova Health to offer precision remote patient monitoring (PRPM) solution to hospitals and patients amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Renova Health is a patient relationship and engagement company, which caters to the technological and service requirements of large clinic practices, hospital systems, and ACOs/Shared Savings Models.
Under the partnership, Renova Health will provide Electronic Caregiver’s real-time chronic care and PRPM system to its healthcare partners.
Dubbed Pro Health, this system consists of a cellular-based smart health hub that can estimate vitals through Bluetooth devices, including glucometer, blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter, spirometer, weight scale, and non-contact thermometer.
Additionally, Electronic Caregiver’s solution is also designed to offer emergency response, medication reminders, and direct connection by phone with support from a clinical team.
Renova Health CEO Dave Jacobs said that the partnership with Electronic Caregiver will enable the company to deliver care with best outcomes and the best management of cost.

By GlobalDataUsing Pro Health, the patient’s health information can be sent to a dedicated medical provider in real-time.
The system’s PRPM dashboard will alert providers when a patient’s health falls above or below a certain threshold.
It will also alert the providers when the system contacts emergency medical services or if the patient has not used the device in three days.
Speaking on the partnership, Electronic Caregiver chief clinical officer Tim Washburn said: “I think it is a significant partnership. Renova Health has a unique model where they embed staff in the physician’s office who help manage the actual remote patient monitoring program.”
“With the company’s methodology in terms of physician engagement and potential customers in the physician’s office, the combination of our technology is powerful.”
