Froedtert ThedaCare Health, an integrated health system established by Froedtert Health and ThedaCare, has broken ground on a new health campus in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, US.
Located at 755 W. Johnson Street, in a retail district near I-41, the new campus is being developed to address the increasing demand for healthcare services in Fond du Lac.
It is set to complement the ongoing community development in the area.
The Fond du Lac campus will be a smaller-scale, modern facility offering 24/7 access to emergency and inpatient care.
Entailing a cost of $35m, the campus will cover an area of around 25,000ft².
It will feature emergency care, inpatient beds, and continuous coverage by board-certified emergency physicians.

By GlobalDataAdditionally, the facility will provide 24/7 access to diagnostic services, including Computed Tomography (CT) scans, x-ray, and ultrasound, with outpatient services also available.
The range of services at the health campus may expand in the future to meet the evolving needs of the community.
ThedaCare providers and the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin health network will collaboratively deliver care to patients at the new campus.
The project’s construction partners include Hplex Solutions as the owner representative, HGA as the architect and engineer, Miron Construction as the construction manager, and The Sigma Group as the civil engineer and landscape architect.
Completion of this project is anticipated in 2025.
The development of this campus is part of a broader strategy by Froedtert ThedaCare Health, which also includes plans to establish a health campus in Oshkosh.
Froedtert ThedaCare Health president Imran A. Andrabi added: “Our goal of the new campus is to offer access to all levels of care, in one coordinated system – close to home. This campus naturally extends the trusted medical care we currently provide the people of this area.”
