US-based comprehensive health network Hackensack Meridian Health has opened a new health and wellness facility in Paramus, New Jersey.
The new facility, named ‘Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center’, aims to provide convenient outpatient care, consolidating a wide range of healthcare services under one roof.
Located on From Road, the Paramus facility is designed to be a one-stop-shop for primary care, specialty practices, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services.
Some of the speciality services offered at the new centre include rheumatology, rehabilitation therapies, cardiology, neurology through the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute, orthopaedics, allergy, dermatology, and nephrology.
Besides, Hackensack Meridian Health is planning to expand these existing services at its health and wellness centre later this year, by introducing advanced imaging, paediatric specialties, gastrointestinal, oncology, and infusion services.
Physicians at the Paramus centre will utilise the same electronic health record system as other Hackensack Meridian Health facilities, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.

The opening of Paramus facility marks the third health and wellness centre opened by Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey in the past three years, with other two located in Clark and Eatontown.
Hackensack Meridian Health chief physician executive and Physician Services Division president Daniel Varga said: “It is our priority to ensure patients receive timely and personalised care, tailored to their unique needs. This new facility enables us to deliver a wide range of primary and specialty services in an environment that prioritises patient comfort and wellbeing.”
In a separate development, Hackensack Meridian Health has finalised a multi-year agreement with CVS Health business’ Aetna, allowing Aetna members to maintain in-network coverage at all Hackensack Meridian Health locations.
This agreement, finalised before the 1 July deadline, ensures uninterrupted care for patients with Aetna health plans.
In March 2024, Hackensack Meridian confirmed that the work on its Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s $45m cardiovascular service expansion project is on track for completion by the fourth quarter of this year.
