Indiana University Student Health Center in Indiana, US, has begun using the AI-powered ambient listening solution, Sunoh.ai, in an effort to streamline its clinical documentation.

The solution integrates with eClinicalWorks‘ ambulatory Cloud electronic health record (EHR) and is designed to reduce the administrative burden on healthcare providers, allowing them to focus on providing patient care.

As well as eliminating burdens related to documentations, the integration helps healthcare providers edit and analyse draft Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan (SOAP) notes later on and add them to the system.

Indiana University Student Health Center Operations director Tamir Hussain said: “As a student health centre, face-to-face interactions with our patients are essential for high quality appointments.

“Sunoh.ai has been a game-changer for our providers, helping eliminate the documentation burden and allowing our providers ample time to speak with patients.

“Using Sunoh.ai, our providers can prioritise patient engagement, ensuring a deeper understanding of the student’s needs.”
