Intermountain Health Heart and Vascular – Delta Cardiology is set to significantly improve access to specialised medical care for the community in the US by relocating to a more spacious clinic from 14 August.
Positioned across from Delta Health, the newly established Intermountain Health Delta Clinic at 155 Stafford Lane will now also house Delta Cardiology.
The clinic spread over 2,000ft², has four examination rooms, a procedure room, and office space, conveniently situated near a range of healthcare services in Delta.
It also has rotating specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation, who will offer clinical appointments to patients bi-monthly.
This development is part of a collaborative effort to advance heart care in the area, involving Delta Health, Intermountain Health Delta Cardiology, and St Mary’s Regional Hospital.
Intermountain Health Western Colorado Medical Group executive director Joya Boyd said: “We are proud to offer more access to specialty care for patients in rural areas of Colorado.

To celebrate the clinic’s expansion, Intermountain Health has scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 14 August from 1-3 pm MT, at 155 Stafford Lane.
The clinic will offer comprehensive cardiology services, including general cardiology, heart rhythm care, and a direct link to additional services in Grand Junction. These services encompass cardiac rehabilitation, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, vascular services, interventional cardiology, and heart failure management.
Delta Health CEO Jonathan Cohee said: “This expansion in local services represents a step forward in helping create and increase access to care for those in our community.
“By working together, we can ensure that patients have access to the best possible care without the need to travel outside of the county.”
In June this year, Intermountain Health commenced construction work with the groundbreaking of a 90,000ft² medical office building in the southwest valley of Las Vegas.
