Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital & Research Centre in India has deployed a new AI-based contactless and continuous patient monitoring and early warning system (EWS) developed by Dozee.
The new technology has been adopted to enhance patient safety, care delivery and clinical outcomes within the hospital’s non-intensive care units (ICU) wards, LiveMint reported.
Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital’s non-ICU beds are now equipped with Dozee’s early warning alert system and ambulatory-connected monitoring systems, enabling continuous as well as contactless monitoring of vital signs of patients.
The cloud-enabled solution also features central and remote monitoring capabilities, allowing healthcare providers to observe patients’ conditions round the clock and intervene promptly when necessary.
Dozee’s EWS utilises AI to track trends in vital parameters, such as heart rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, respiration rate, and temperature, and issue alerts for early detection of clinical deterioration.
Dozee CEO and co-founder Mudit Dandwate said: “Adoption of continuous ward monitoring and early warning systems is pivotal for delivering quality healthcare at scale. This collaboration is a testament to growing role of Indian innovation in shaping future of healthcare globally.”
