The Kidney and Hypertension Center (KHC) has collaborated with Panoramic Health, an integrated provider group for kidney care in the US, to improve kidney care in Ohio.
This partnership aims to serve the full continuum of care for patients and physicians by integrating complementary service lines.
This also marks Panoramic Health’s first collaboration in Ohio.
KHC, a nephrology practice based in Cincinnati, Ohio, operates 23 office locations and two vascular access centres.
The centre has 44 providers, serving approximately 2,500 stage 4 and 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients and more than 1,700 end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) patients.
As part of the latest partnership, KHC will have access to Panoramic Health’s resources and expertise network that will help in enhancing KHC’s ability to provide comprehensive and customised kidney care services to the patients, while retaining clinical practice ownership.
KHC will also benefit from Panoramic Health’s value-based care platform that enables nephrologist-led care delivery.
Panoramic Health CEO Dr Tarek Elsawy said: “This latest partnership expands our ability to improve the health and wellbeing of patients living with kidney disease and related chronic conditions through Panoramic’s continued investments into the growth of our integrated provider group as well through meaningful development across our ambulatory surgery centre and clinical research divisions.”
The latest collaboration with KHC further reinforces Panoramic Health’s commitment to shaping the future of kidney care by combining integrated provider group with clinical support as well as at scale operational, data and analytics expertise.
Panoramic Health currently has more than 750 aligned providers across 19 US states, serving more than 300,000 patients.
Commenting on the collaboration, KHC president Dr Tony Samaha said: “We chose to partner and integrate with Panoramic Health because the organisation has a proven track record of supporting growth and care delivery of independent nephrology practices.”
