Good Samaritan Health System comprises Regional Medical Center of San Jose and Good Samaritan Hospital. The two hospitals are teamed up with the Santa Clara County Individual Practice Association (SCCIPA).

Following the addition, Canopy Health’s network now comprises 18 Bay Area hospitals in eight counties. These additions have taken the count of physicians from 4,000 to nearly 5,000 in the alliance.

These additions will have to be approved by the Department of Managed Health Care.
