The King Faisal Specialty Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has installed Lumedx’s cardiovascular information and imaging systems (CVIS) at its Heart Centre.
Lumedx’s CVIS will connect cardiovascular patient data to the hospital electronic health record, allowing doctors to access patient records round the clock.
Heart Centre’s informatics group, Heartnet project executive and paediatric electrophysiology section head Majid Al Fayyadh said that, through the integration of CVIS, the hospital can record all patient information, including ADT, order and procedural.
The vendor-neutral CVIS comprises Apollo clinical data repository, clinical interfaces and the Philips Xcelera image-integration solution.
