The hospital will replace its AS/400 based product with the InsightCS system’s end-to-end suite of patient scheduling and registration, payer eligibility checking, patient accounting and billing, claims resolution and processing, contract management, denial tracking and reporting applications.

Valley General Hospital will implement InsightCS along with Medsphere’s OpenVista electronic health record, a comprehensive suite of clinical support applications that enables improved patient care and more efficient clinician workflow.

Previously, Stockell Healthcare Systems and Medsphere have worked together to deliver solutions to other customer hospitals.

The two companies are now more closely integrated to streamline data exchange between InsightCS and OpenVista, creating a fully interoperable enterprise health IT platform for Valley General Hospital.
