Patient safety and compliance technology provider ObservSMART and Mount Sinai Medical Center are set to enhance their strategic partnership to include the latter’s emergency centres.
The strategic collaboration continues to increase patient safety for behavioural health patients within their three emergency centres across Miami-Dade County.
Mount Sinai will incorporate ObservSMART into its behavioural health and emergency centres to continue its commitment to improving safety and the level of personalised care received by each patient.
ObservSMART vice-president Noreen Gottfried said: “We have enjoyed a successful partnership with Mount Sinai Medical Center and are looking forward to improving and ensuring patient safety within new departments.”
The portable rounding technology of ObservSMART leverages Bluetooth proximity and patient wearables for monitoring higher acuity patients.
With ObservSMART’s Tablet App staff will receive real-time reminders to check on patients.
