Direct primary care provider Paladina Health has signed a deal to acquire US-based Healthstat to expand its footprint and operate more clinics across the country.
At present, Paladina operates 120 clinics in the Midwest and the Western US.
Upon completion of the acquisition, Paladina will add over 230 clinics in 13 additional states, including in the Southeast to its portfolio.
With this deal, the company will operate a total of 350 clinics in the US.
Collaborating with Johns Hopkins HealthCare Solutions, Healthstat works on incorporating evidence-based disease management and behaviour assessment programmes into its network of employee health clinics.
Apart from in-person and virtual primary care services, it offers occupational health services to improve workplace safety and reduce lost time from work.

The company has also collaborated with health systems including Common Spirit Health, SSM Health and The Christ Hospital.

The companies did not divulge the financial details of the deal.
