Royal Philips has collaborated with openDoctor to deliver an integrated radiology patient engagement platform.
Under the partnership, Philips plans to integrate openDoctor’s real-time patient self-scheduling capabilities as part of its newly launched Patient Management Solution.
Through this integration, the companies hope to transform patient radiology scheduling, contactless registration and automated communications and education all from any connected mobile device.
The customisable, easy-to-use, single-vendor solution aims to reduce lost slots, allows patients to select appointment slots that fit their schedules while optimising appointment preparation and improve patient and staff satisfaction.
Additionally, patients can complete intake questionnaires in advance on the integrated radiology patient engagement platform and receive last-minute reminders and wayfinding.
Philips Precision Diagnosis chief business leader Kees Wesdorp said: “With patients becoming more active in their healthcare than ever before, openDoctor has built an impressive suite of access-to-care applications for radiology departments and imaging centres to help further enhance our Patient Management Solution, enabling us to bring fully integrated solutions to our customers and patients alike.”
