Providence Health, a global healthcare engineering, operations, and innovation centre, has opened a new office facility in Hyderabad, in the Indian state of Telangana.
The facility, which was inaugurated on 26 February, will allow the company to strengthen its services in cybersecurity, clinical applications, and digital healthcare solutions.
It will serve as a central hub for Providence, allowing the company to focus on critical functions, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, process automation, product development, enterprise services, and emerging technologies, including generative artificial intelligence (AI).
This move uses India’s expertise and human resources, with plans to expand the current workforce from nearly 1,400 to up to 3,500 employees over the next year.
With an expanded workforce, the company aims to meet the increasing demand for advanced tech-enabled healthcare services and partner with more hospital operators in the country.
Providence India’s new nine-floor facility in Hyderabad features is built in compliance with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and WELL Building platinum standards.
