US-based healthcare company PruittHealth has agreed to manage two of Southeast Georgia Health System’s nursing and rehabilitation centres in Brunswick and St Mary’s, Georgia, US.

Southeast Georgia Health System is a not-for-profit entity that operates multiple healthcare facilities, including acute care hospitals and speciality care centres.

Effective from 1 September, the partnership aims to leverage PruittHealth’s expertise in senior healthcare and Southeast Georgia Health System’s clinical excellence to optimise operations, provide staff opportunities and improve patient care.

It is intended to to enhance the quality of care for patients requiring skilled nursing services post-illness, surgery or injury.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two centres will be rebranded to PruittHealth – Brunswick at Southeast Georgia Health System and PruittHealth – St Mary’s at Southeast Georgia Health System respectively.

Both facilities will offer physical, occupational and speech therapies, along with some of PruittHealth’s other services such as outpatient therapy, home health care and prescription services.
