
Cloud-based RIS/PACS radiology solutions provider RamSoft has announced a strategic partnership with Alpha Nodus to equip global healthcare sites with AI tools.
With this partnership, more than 750 RamSoft healthcare sites worldwide will have access to Alpha Nodus’s AI-powered tools.
The tools encompass cost estimates, automated document processing, prior authorisations, and scheduling capabilities.
The Gravity AI platform, developed by Alpha Nodus, is designed to improve every aspect of the patient experience, from ‘Script to Scan’.
By automating workflows and increasing efficiency, Gravity AI aims to complement existing RIS and EMR systems rather than replace them.
When integrated with RamSoft’s PowerServer RIS solution, Gravity optimises healthcare workflows.
Alpha Nodus CEO Shamit Patel said: “Prior authorisations once took hours or even days.
“With Gravity, now integrated into PowerServer, we’ve fully automated or reduced that to just minutes, improving efficiency and accelerating the patient journey.”
The benefits of Gravity AI integration include real-time authorisation checks during booking to prevent delays and AI-driven document automation that eliminates manual steps.
Other advantages are compliance checks that reduce denial rates by 25%, thus protecting revenue, and AI-driven scheduling with predictive algorithms by minimising no-shows.
Additionally, Automated Outreach provides text and voice reminders, encompassing multilingual options, to keep patients informed.

Earlier this month, RamSoft expanded its AI capabilities by partnering with CARPL.ai to integrate the latter’s AI marketplace with its PowerServer and OmegaAI RIS/PACS platforms.
This integration allows radiologists to deploy AI-driven solutions within the RamSoft PACS environment, supporting their existing workflows without adding infrastructure complexities.
