India-based Sahyadri Hospitals has announced plans to invest Rs7.5bn ($90.89m) in doubling its healthcare infrastructure over the next three to four years.
The expansion includes opening of the 100-bed Sahyadri Hospital Hadapsar Annexe facility.
Sahyadri Hospitals also plans to expand its network to other cities in Maharashtra, such as Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pimpri Chinchwad, Nagpur, Solapur, and Kolhapur.
The hospital chain aims to bridge the healthcare gap and provide specialised medical care to meet the growing demand.
With a focus on increasing bed capacity, Sahyadri Hospitals aims to ensure high-quality healthcare services are accessible to more patients through a combination of brownfield and greenfield projects, as well as strategic mergers and acquisitions.
BW Healthcareworld quoted Sahyadri Hospitals director and CEO Abrarali Dalal as saying: “I am delighted to announce Sahyadri Hospitals’ ambitious expansion plans as we address the growing demand for quality healthcare in Maharashtra.
