Select Medical has revealed plans to establish a new rehabilitation hospital in Temple, Texas.
The proposed 40-plus bed facility is poised to enhance the region’s healthcare infrastructure, with an anticipated opening in late Q1 2025.
This development is part of Select Medical’s strategic expansion to meet the growing demand for inpatient rehabilitation services.
Once operational, the new 48,000ft² hospital will join Select Medical’s extensive network of healthcare facilities.
Since 2011, Select Medical has been operating in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Health, managing four inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in Dallas, Fort-Worth, Frisco, and Lakeway, as well as a hospital unit in Irving and two neuro transitional centres in Dallas.
The company also independently runs Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Denton.
