UniDoc Health, in partnership with the Municipality of Aliano in Matera, Italy, has announced plans to install an H3 Health Cube at the Territorial Health Center.
Led by Aliano mayor Luigi De Lorenzo, this initiative is set to bolster primary healthcare services for the citizens of Aliano, incorporating advanced eHealth AI and connected medical instrument technologies.
The installation of the H3 Health Cube is a strategic move to deliver essential healthcare services within Aliano, mitigating the need for residents to travel long distances for medical care.
The initiative is part of the Italian Government’s commitment to improve eHealth solutions for rural communities, with UniDoc Health being the preferred provider.
Luigi De Lorenzo said: “Focusing particularly on the distances to regional hospitals and the challenges our community faces, especially to better support the fundamental activities of general practitioners, I would like to present the innovative solution of the Health Cube territorial health center by Unidoc Health from Canada.”
Aliano’s geographic location poses significant challenges for its residents to access timely medical care, with the nearest hospitals being over 65km away.

By GlobalDataThe H3 Health Cube aims to address these barriers by offering diagnostic, monitoring, and care services locally.
It is equipped with advanced medical devices and telemedicine capabilities and will enable accurate diagnoses and remote consultations.
The services provided by the Health Cube are particularly vital for chronic disease management and immediate diagnostic tests.
Furthermore, the implementation of personalised prevention programmes and regular health condition monitoring will facilitate early anomaly detection and timely medical intervention.
The Health Cube centre aims to revolutionise healthcare in Aliano by providing continuous care and enabling doctors to remotely monitor patients.
In serious cases, the centre will guide patients to the appropriate hospital departments, creating a more efficient care pathway.
This development is anticipated to significantly reduce the travel burdens related to disease prevention, monitoring, and care after hospitalisation.
UniDoc CEO Antonio Baldassarre said: “We are aiming to have the Health Cube onsite and installed before the end of this year.”
