The integration allows healthcare providers to automatically capture and analyse call audio directly through the Zoom app, without the need for integrations with other communication providers.

Zoom Workplace will provide access to Verbal’s AI-powered clinical documentation, real-time quality assurance (QA) and training tools.

This aims to benefit providers of all sizes by saving time, improving patient experiences and increasing revenue within value-based care frameworks.

The Verbal AI app in Zoom Workplace is designed to save time for healthcare providers, enhance patient experiences and increase revenue while reducing costs.

The app automatically generates clinical documentation in line with an organisation’s compliance requirements and best practices.

Forms of clinical documentation it can create include therapy progress notes, subjective, objective, assessment and plan (SOAP) notes, and situation, background, assessment and recommendation (SBAR) notes.

Studies have shown that on average, physicians spend almost 50% of their time on clinical notes and other administrative tasks.

Verbal aims to reduce this administrative burden on providers and allowing them to focus more on patient care.

The company also seeks to provide real-time guidance, reminders and feedback in line with each organisation’s standards.

Verbal said its automated QA adheres to organisational best practices to ensure a consistent level of high-quality care, which is vital for success in value-based care models where patient satisfaction and care quality directly impact revenue.

Verbal CEO Waleed Mohsen said: “Partnering with Zoom brings Verbal’s AI capabilities to more healthcare providers, enabling them to focus on what matters most—delivering quality care to patients.

“We are thrilled to see how this integration will streamline workflows, improve patient experiences, and help providers thrive in value-based care models.”
