The Government of Victoria in Australia has announced that new designs were released for a day rehabilitation facility at Bendigo Hospital.
The designs of the $43.95m (A$59.5m) facility were unveiled by Victorian Minister for Health Martin Foley.
The new centre will benefit the Central Victorians providing them with access to services to support their physical and mental wellbeing.
Particularly, the rehabilitation facility will help patients to recover from accidents, injuries and other medical conditions such as a stroke or heart attack.
The project is funded by the Victorian Health Building Authority.
The funding will be used to develop a hydrotherapy pool as well as to bring outpatient rehabilitation, allied health, dental, mental health, renal dialysis, breast screening and diabetes education services under the one roof.
