Virtua Health has partnered with Woebot Health to introduce Woebot for Adults as a supplementary mental health tool for patients.
This collaboration aims to offer support to individuals waiting for behavioural health services or seeking alternatives to traditional in-person therapy.

Virtua Health will also develop a shared resource centre with Woebot Health to provide training, deployment, and reporting resources for implementing Woebot for Adults.
The alliance will assess the impact of digital therapeutics on patient outcomes, healthcare resource utilisation, and health economics.
Virtua Health senior vice president and chief digital transformation officer Tarun Kapoor said: “Our recent community needs assessment showed behavioural health access continues to be a top priority in our area, but that affordability, trust and practical considerations are roadblocks to getting help.
“Woebot is the innovative tool that has the potential to address many of the problems that our providers and our community are facing.”
