AdventHealth has appointed Nick Bejarano as the new president and CEO of AdventHealth Manchester, a 49-bed hospital in Kentucky, US.
Bejarano, who became a member of the company in 2019, is transitioning from his current role as AdventHealth DeLand vice-president and chief operating officer.
There, he has been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and expanding service lines, such as DaVinci robotic surgery, neuro spine, and vascular surgery.
These additions have brought vital services to the West Volusia market where they were previously unavailable.
Bejarano said: “I’m excited to collaborate with the leaders, providers and team members at AdventHealth Manchester, as well as with local community and state leaders, to build on the strong legacy of compassionate, whole-person care that AdventHealth Manchester is known for in Eastern Kentucky.”
Before his tenure at AdventHealth DeLand, Bejarano made significant contributions as the AdventHealth Waterman Business Development market director.
His strategic planning and physician recruitment strategies fostered growth in the North Lake and South Sumter markets.
Bejarano's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Southern Adventist University.
He is a member of the board at the Good Samaritan Clinic, which offers complimentary healthcare services to those without insurance in West Volusia County.
In his new role at AdventHealth Manchester, Bejarano will be responsible for leading the facility and report directly to the AdventHealth Southeast Region president and CEO Mike Thompson.
Thompson said: “Nick’s operational background and focus on driving excellence will make him a great addition to the AdventHealth Manchester team.
“The Manchester community is a special place and I’m certain Nick’s passion for people, service and our mission will help advance our healing ministry throughout greater Clay County.”
