The move aims to optimise the allocation of healthcare resources and offer patients precise medical services.

Akso Health Group, a medical technology company, has announced the integration of DeepSeek's advanced artificial intelligence technology (AI).

This move aims to optimise the allocation of healthcare resources and provide patients with precise medical services.

The integration will see Akso Health Group using DeepSeek's deep learning frameworks, multimodal large-scale models, and big data processing capabilities.

This upgrade to the AI-powered diagnosis system will combine medical imaging, patient text descriptions, and laboratory test results.

Using natural language processing and deep learning, the system will offer tailored treatment recommendations and accurate diagnoses.

Further developments include the creation of a medical assistant powered by AI to support doctors in retrieving patient records, analysing similar cases, and recommending treatment plans.

This is expected to enhance diagnostic efficiency.

In addition, Akso Health Group is incorporating human-centric AI interactions to ensure a more natural and empathetic user experience, aiming to reduce patient anxiety and optimise the overall consultation process.

Akso Health Group CEO Yilin (Linda) Wang said: "The utilisation of DeepSeek is a major milestone in AI powered healthcare. By leveraging DeepSeek's technological expertise, we aim to enhance diagnostic accuracy and deliver superior healthcare services to users worldwide."

The company plans to continue exploring AI applications in various healthcare sectors in the future, including health management, research, and development, as well as telemedicine.

Formerly known as Xiaobai Maimai, Akso Health Group has transitioned from exploring e-commerce platforms to specialising in the sales of medical devices in China and the US.

The company also operates radiotherapy oncology centres in the US.

It has indirectly acquired equity interests in Tianjin Deyihui Internet Hospital and Tianjin Deyihui Clinic from March 2024. They offer online medical consultations, chronic disease management, and follow-up consultations.
