AndHealth and JPCHC partner for speciality care access in Indiana

The collaboration will help JPCHC provide access to an integrated care model with affordable specialty care.

AndHealth has partnered with Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC), a Community Health Center (CHC) with ten locations in Indiana, US.

This collaboration aims to address the speciality care access crisis, particularly affecting medically underserved communities, and alleviate the associated burdens of increased healthcare costs and disease prevalence.

It will help JPCHC provide access to an integrated care model with affordable in-house speciality care, to address cost and logistical barriers, including lengthy wait lists and speciality care deserts.

This integrated care model includes support for root causes, as well as Social Drivers of Health (SDoH), including medically tailored meal delivery, behavioural health support, sleep, movement, remote monitoring, and continuous access to providers and health coaching.

JPCHC CEO Marc Hackett said: “At Jane Pauley Community Health Center our objective is to create healthy communities through world-class care and by building on key partnerships with organisations like AndHealth.

“Offering speciality care and speciality pharmacy directly through our centres is an important step to solving the speciality care access crisis and brings more options for convenient, affordable speciality care to the communities we serve.”

AndHealth partners with CHCs, presenting a fully integrated, in-house speciality care and pharmacy solution.

This approach allows CHCs to administer in-house treatment under their existing affordable fee structure, ensuring access through both virtual and on-site options for patients.

The model claims to be economically sustainable for CHCs and yields positive outcomes, reduced costs, and an influx of new patients.

AndHealth's network of CHC partners now spans Ohio, Indiana, and Massachusetts, with all patients initiating treatment within a seven-day timeframe.

Patients will have access to speciality prescriptions directly through JPCHC's speciality pharmacy, starting in early 2024.

AndHealth founder and CEO Matt Scantland said: “All people deserve access to high-quality healthcare, and we are inspired by the work that Jane Pauley Community Health Center is doing to support the health and wellbeing of people in Indiana.

“We are exceptionally proud to partner with them to provide access to whole-person speciality care and to improve health outcomes for patients.”
