ARC Health acquires Mindsoother Therapy Center  

Since inception in 2011, Mindsoother has been providing individual, family, and group therapy services for various age groups.

ARC Health, a company within the Thurston Group portfolio, has acquired Mindsoother Therapy Center, a mental health practice serving the residents of Livingston, New Jersey, US.  

Since its inception in 2011, Mindsoother has been providing individual, family, and group therapy services for various age groups. 

Leading the centre is Danna Markson, who acts as the founder and director of Mindsoother. 

Markson and her specialised team excel in delivering evidence-based therapies, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). 

The centre addresses a wide spectrum of mental health issues, encompassing eating disorders, ADHD, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicide. 

Markson said: “We are thrilled about the partnership with ARC Health as it allows us to maintain our focus on delivering the highest level of client care while broadening our reach and impact. 

“Leveraging ARC's support, we look forward to expanding our services and contributing positively to our community's mental health and well-being.” 

The deal was facilitated by Fort Myers, Florida-based healthcare-focused M&A advisory firm Mertz Taggart. 

ARC Health CEO Vince Morra said: “Our partnership with Mindsoother underscores our steadfast dedication to advancing mental health care, prioritising client welfare, and fortifying the capabilities of our providers.

ARC Health is a group of mental healthcare practices that maintain their identities while collaborating through a supportive partnership.  

The business model emphasises a unified, provider-centric approach, allowing for clinical autonomy while fostering collaboration as equity-owning partners.  

A private equity firm, Thurston Group has partnered with various healthcare businesses, including ARC Health, Smile Doctors, and U.S. Orthopedic Partners.
