Network-enabled software and services provider athenahealth has introduced a new suite of customised specialty offerings, athenaOne for Women’s Health and athenaOne for Urgent Care.
Each of these tailored solutions will incorporate the comprehensive features of athenahealth's EHR and practice management solutions, along with operational, clinical, and customer service capabilities to meet the specific requirements of each specialty.
Women’s health clinicians will receive a solution that supports the entire health journey of female patients, assisting them in providing informed and compassionate care.
athenahealth claimed that urgent care centres will benefit from athenaOne solution that supports their business model, which focuses on delivering high-quality, on-demand care and the ability to scale effectively.
Practices adopting athenaOne specialty solutions will have access to this cloud-based practice management suite, which offers EHR, revenue cycle management, and patient engagement software.
The dynamic athenaOne platform offers a scalable SaaS environment, seamless data exchange, and comprehensive clinical visibility.
Additionally, practices will gain insights from athenahealth’s extensive network of over 150,000 clinicians, helping them navigate healthcare complexities and improve efficiency, revenue, patient experience, and performance.
The new solutions also feature specialty-specific product enhancements, such as pre-configured workflows and clinical content, specialty-focused onboarding, customer success managers, curated partnerships, and an innovation roadmap tailored to specialty practices.
Following the launch of these novel solutions, athenahealth plans to introduce offerings for other specialties, including athenaOne for Behavioral Health, and for additional care sites soon.
athenahealth chairman and CEO Bob Segert said: “athenahealth empowers ambulatory care clinicians to deliver the best care, while enabling their practices to operate efficiently and thrive in a complicated and competitive healthcare landscape. We’ve developed a deep understanding of how practices work, the specific needs – and goals – of specialties, and how technology can help them deliver the best possible care.
“That makes us uniquely qualified, and uniquely positioned to meet the needs of specialty practices with solutions that work the way they do and remove administrative complexity. It’s exactly what our specialty-tailored athenaOne solutions provide.”
In April this year, athenahealth launched the Patient Digital Engagement Index to aid medical practices in measuring and improving how they interact with and support their patients.
