US-based healthcare technology companies Avidex and Artisight have partnered to provide a virtual care solution for hospitals.
The partnership will combine Avidex’s proprietary TigrPX interactive patient engagement system with Artisight’s virtual care platform.
Avidex will offer audio-visual hardware installation support and serve as the in-room technology integrator for this purpose.
Once integrated with TigrPX, the Artisight smart hospital platform will be able to use in-room televisions to deliver virtual care for patients.
The integrated solution will be offered to Avidex and Artisight’s new and existing client hospitals and health systems.
It is intended to allow patients and staff access to an enhanced virtual care experience.

The company said this will allow hospitals to create a safer care environment and bolster care coordination.
Avidex's TigrPX system is designed to deliver patient-centric engagement tools to hospitals for managing staff-patient communication and automated staff workflows with EMR/hospital system integrations.
