Brand Engagement Network (BEN) and KangarooHealth have announced a partnership to enhance AI-supported remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management (CCM).
This collaboration aims to improve patient outcomes within the value-based care model by leveraging omnichannel support capabilities.
The joint effort will integrate BEN's healthcare AI assistant, Sandy, with KangarooHealth's suite of connected care solutions.
Sandy, an AI-powered avatar, is designed to understand and respond to patient inquiries in real time, offering support anytime and anywhere. This enhances the care experience and patient engagement.
KangarooHealth founder and CEO Dr Xiaoxu Kang said: “Most patients struggle with managing chronic conditions at home, and the joint solution from BEN and KangarooHealth provides a care management partner for patients, meeting patients’ needs wherever they are in their chronic care management journey and providing always-available remote patient monitoring support while personalising all communications for each patient’s preference with a rapid deployment cycle.
“Especially in value-based care framework, we would like to empower progressive health plans, accountable care organisations (ACOs), and pharmacy networks to better support their members with our AI-powered remote patient monitoring programmes.”
KangarooHealth's platform features over 100 device integrations supporting more than 50 chronic condition pathways, including the integration of electronic medical records (EMR) and access to licensed clinicians who provide remote care.
The partnership focuses on transforming patient care by managing chronic conditions more effectively, reducing adverse events through the detection of early symptoms, and improving care outcomes.
The integrated solutions aim to establish a scalable, 24/7/365 RPM programme that provides personalised health education, informs patients about early risk indicators, and recommends care management steps for timely interventions.
KangarooHealth's plug-and-play solutions aim to reduce the burden on healthcare staff while improving patient care, reducing readmissions, and enhancing healthcare delivery.
