The Los Angeles Outpatient Center (LAOP) has become an in-network provider with Blue Shield of California, which is set to improve access to personalised mental health care for members and employers in the Los Angeles area, US.

The partnership aligns with LAOP's mission to provide comprehensive mental health services tailored to individual needs.

LAOP's in-network status with Blue Shield of California means that members can now receive LAOP's specialised mental health services at a more affordable cost, reducing the financial barrier.

The centre offers a range of treatment options designed to support individuals in their healing journey while allowing them to continue with their daily activities.

Blue Shield of California members can benefit from LAOP's integrative approach, which includes both traditional and experiential therapies.

The centre provides various levels of care, from full-day Partial Hospitalisation Program (PHP) to half-day Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), ensuring flexibility and balance for those in treatment.

Additional services that members can access as part of this partnership include convenient transportation and psychiatric care, among others.

Employers who offer Blue Shield of California health plans will also see advantages from this collaboration.

Their employees can now access LAOP's reputable mental health services, which address a range of conditions such as depression, OCD, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma-related disorders.

The Los Angeles Outpatient Center executive director Dominique Hamler said: “At LAOP, we believe in a holistic, multi-faceted approach to mental health treatment that recognises and addresses the unique needs of every client.

“Being in-network with Blue Shield of California allows us to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to more individuals. Together, we're working to destigmatize mental illness and create a safe space for healing.”
