CardioOne brings its cardiology care platform to new US markets

The platform aims to provide these practices with the technology, services, and expertise to optimise their operations.

September 19 2023

CardioOne, a cardiology care delivery enablement platform, has expanded its presence through three new alliances with independent cardiology practices in New Jersey, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

These partnerships join CardioOne's existing partner practices in Texas and Maryland.

The platform aims to provide these practices with the technology, services, and expertise to optimise their operations and enhance care.

It will address the challenges faced by independent cardiologists in managing their practices amid the shift towards value-based care.

Besides, CardioOne collaborated with cardiovascular solutions company MedAxiom to further reach out to the cardiology community.

CardioOne's integrated service model provides partners with customisable solutions for sustained practice expansion and innovation, including integrated tech platforms, value-based care tools, operational support, growth strategies, and payer contracting solutions.

CardioOne CEO and co-founder Jasen Gunderson said: “Inadequate and fragmented technology is at the root of many of the problems that independent cardiologists are facing today.

“Between siloed EMRs, inefficient revenue cycle technology, overwhelming and fragmented vendor management systems and the demand from patients for a strong online presence, independent cardiologists are seeing extremely high rates of burnout and devoting an ever-growing amount of time dedicated to administrative tasks.

“CardioOne’s solution removes the heavy administrative burdens, empowering cardiologists to focus on their expertise and true passion – the practice of medicine without feeling forced into acquisition.”

CardioOne claims that since its inception less than a year ago, it has helped independent cardiology practices improve clinical, operational, and financial efficiencies.

Medical robotics set to witness robust growth in the next decade

GlobalData expects every segment of the medical robotics market to grow over the next decade, driven by the demands of high-volume procedures. Per GlobalData forecasts, the surgical robotics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8% by 2030. Surgical robots improve patient outcomes, reduce human error, and decrease the length of hospital stays. New surgical robot models will offer new surgical possibilities, such as micro-robots to address difficult-to-treat diseases.
