September 26 2023

CareCloud's medSR division has secured contracts with three healthcare institutions, namely La Paz Regional Hospital in Arizona, Russell Medical Center in Alabama, and Memorial Hospital and Manor in Georgia.

As part of these contracts, CareCloud will implement MEDITECH technology in the hospitals to improve their healthcare services.

La Paz Regional Hospital is working with medSR to implement MEDITECH as a Service (MaaS) to enhance their healthcare services.

Russell Medical Center started working with medSR for MaaS implementation in late 2022 and expanded their partnership to include MEDITECH Expanse lab support.

Memorial Hospital and Manor are also implementing MaaS with medSR's support to provide better healthcare to their community.

medSR executive vice-president and COO Dwight Garvin said: “We are thrilled to finalise these contracts with La Paz Regional Hospital, Russell Medical Center, and Memorial Hospital and Manor.

“These agreements mark a pivotal moment in medSR's journey, as we continue to witness a growing number of MEDITECH expansion opportunities.

“By broadening our MEDITECH relationships, we are not only strengthening medSR's professional revenue but also securing a promising path for our business growth as we enter 2024.”

medSR is a MEDITECH implementation partner, with expertise in various MEDITECH platforms and a team of experienced professionals for the implementations.

CareCloud provides healthcare technology solutions to help medical practices and health systems improve their financial and operational performance.

Is it time for the healthcare sector to fully embrace the benefits of digitalization and AI?

Primarily due to COVID-19, the healthcare sector has witnessed an acceleration in digital transformation, which has improved efficiencies and enhanced patient outcomes. AI can revolutionize the drug discovery process and significantly reduce the time and cost to get a drug to market, particularly in areas of unmet need. However, using healthcare data for AI development raises data privacy concerns, thereby limiting its adoption.
