China’s Changshu Hospital has signed a healthcare alliance agreement with Shanghai Changzheng Hospital to provide two-way green channel access.
The parties signed the deal and unveiled a plaque in a ceremony at Changshu Hospital to mark the healthcare alliance cooperation.
As per the deal, Changshu Hospital and Changzheng Hospital will offer two-way green channel access for patients, specialist practice opportunities, and staff training exchanges.
Changshu Hospital will host Changzheng Hospital’s specialists to practise in its facilities.
The collaboration will also open doors for Changshu Hospital staff to attend training courses at Changzheng Hospital.
Furthermore, the alliance will allow Changshu Hospital to tap into a new market segment, catering to military personnel and their families.
Changshu Hospital is operated by OUE Healthcare (OUEH)’s joint venture firm, China Merchants Lippo Hospital Management (Shenzhen) [CM Lippo], in Changshu, Jiangsu Province.
The 100-bed facility offering obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) services spans approximately 23,000m².
In addition to O&G services, Changshu Hospital features a confinement centre with 27 suites for postpartum rehabilitation and provides ancillary services like medical aesthetics to complement its health and wellness offerings.
Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, a public Grade 3A General Hospital in Shanghai, operates under military jurisdiction.
