CliniComp EHR solution use will be extended to medical/surgical, post-anaesthesia, and emergency departments from critical care.

CliniComp, an electronic health record (EHR) solutions provider, has announced expanded partnerships with three Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) in the healthcare sector.

These VISNs are the VA Heart of Texas Healthcare Network (VISN 17), VA Southeast Network (VISN 7), and MidSouth Veterans Healthcare Network (VISN 9).

These VISNs, serving veterans across Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, have been longstanding users of CliniComp's EHR solution.

CliniComp's EHR solution usage will now be extended to medical/surgical, post-anaesthesia, and emergency departments from critical care.

VISN 9 Biomedical Solutions Nurse Kim Harrelson said: “Expanding our long-standing partnership with CliniComp will help us ensure that our Veterans receive highly integrated, coordinated care and support services across inpatient and emergency settings.

“In addition, the expansion can be implemented very quickly – in less than 90 days – to speed provider access to the unified patient record and enhance collaboration among healthcare teams, leading to more informed decision-making, streamlined workflows, and ultimately, better patient care.”

The CliniComp platform is said to allow for seamless integration across the entire care continuum, providing benefits to healthcare providers and systems.

These advantages encompass holistic patient information, improved care coordination, efficient workflows, data-driven insights, and an enhanced patient experience.

The platform enables access to comprehensive patient data, enhances communication among care teams, streamlines workflows, and empowers organisations with analytics.

It is also said to foster patient-centred, coordinated care for a more personalised and compassionate healthcare experience.

CliniComp client services senior vice president Sandra Johnson said: “We are excited to grow our partnerships with these three organisations and are confident in our ability to accelerate their speed to value across care settings.

“Our web-based, System-as-a-Service (SYaaS) subscription model delivers unrivalled performance and reliability from the most complex high-acuity hospital environments to ancillary and ambulatory settings.

“In addition, our inclusion of all current and future interfaces, system enhancements and upgrades, ongoing IT and implementation support, and training and system optimisation assures return on investment, reduces labour costs, and significantly lowers total cost of ownership.”
