Cooper University Health Care in the US has officially completed its previously announced merger with Cape Regional Health System, marking a significant expansion of healthcare services in Cape May County, effective 1 July 2024.
The integration includes renaming Cape Regional Medical Center to Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional.

The New Jersey Superior Court of Cape May County granted final regulatory approval on 28 May 2024, allowing the transaction to be completed.
This merger aims to enhance the availability of speciality health services for both residents and visitors of Cape May County.
