US-based substance recovery group Diamond Recovery Group is set to open its first facility dedicated to behavioural health services in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Named Diamond Behavioral Health, the centre aims to offer a full spectrum of mental health services tailored to individual requirements.
Its clinical team will be dedicated to delivering personalised therapy and counselling, with the aim to guide individuals towards mental wellness and more fulfilling lives.
Diamond Behavioral Health is due to open on 26 January 2024, and will operate under the guidance of Diamond Recovery Group's newly appointed chief operating officer (COO), Sergio Muriel.
Muriel has more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including roles as a Licensed Mental Health Counsellor (LMHC) and Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) in Florida.
He will lead the facility’s programme development, which will aim to address the specific needs of the South Florida community.
Muriel said: “The Behavioral Health facility in Florida comes at a crucial time for people across the state that suffer from various mental health disorders.
“Diamond's comprehensive care's main focus is helping individuals and families heal and create long-lasting success and recovery."
The behavioural health centre is part of Diamond Recovery Group's efforts to enhance its focus on mental health care.
It will complement the group's existing facilities, which include the Atlanta Detox Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Eternal Purpose Recovery Center in Los Angeles, California.
The group’s professional network of treatment consultants assists patients in finding appropriate treatment settings, with a commitment to providing comprehensive care.
Diamond Recovery Group CEO Adam Multz said: “We are excited to announce the expansion of our mental health treatment offerings to fully support individuals living in South Florida and provide them with the critical tools for long term recovery.
“The addition of our COO, Sergio Muriel, will further contribute to the success of our Florida launch.”
