EHS signs MoU with UK’s HCA International to strengthen health sector

The MoU will contribute to strengthening the healthcare system while enhancing services quality.

The Emirates Health Services (EHS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with HCA International in the UK to strengthen the health sector.

The MoU focuses on research, education, and the Visiting Consultants Program areas, for offering advanced clinical services to patients and developing integrated healthcare programmes while using latest treatment methods.

It also aims to improve the quality of medical services in the UAE by exchanging experiences and expertise which will be beneficial for patients.

Furthermore, the agreement will bolster the provision of quality medical services.

The MoU encompasses several sectors including an Integrated Comprehensive Health Care programme development and providing enhanced clinical care for patients.

EHS Mental Health Department director Noor Al Muhairi said that the MoU will help strengthen cooperation in scientific research by implementing advanced technologies for diagnosing and treating diseases.

It will also contribute to strengthening the healthcare system while enhancing services quality.

Through this collaboration, EHS will focus on different medical disciplines to ensure its objectives are met.

The MoU also explores ways of cooperation for providing training to doctors and other healthcare personnel, through joint research initiatives and programmes related to health management.

EHS and HCA International will also provide doctors from all sub-disciplines clinical and educational services at EHS facilities.

They include follow-up of the treatment plan, clinical consultations and exchange of knowledge with other healthcare professionals.
