HealPrecisely, a chronic wound care practice, has selected Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) as its partner to introduce a remote patient monitoring (RPM) programme specifically tailored for patients with wound care needs.
This programme is designed to prevent hospital readmissions by enabling home monitoring of patients.
The costs associated with the RPM programme will be reimbursed under Chronic Care Management for these patients.
HealPrecisely will utilise HRS's PatientConnect RPM platform to keep watch on its patients, as part of this alliance.
The partnership also allows HealPrecisely to leverage HRS's logistics services to oversee the delivery and retrieval of RPM kits from patient homes efficiently.
HRS marketing and portfolio strategy head Michael Gemmati said: "We are delighted to collaborate with HealPrecisely, a leader in chronic wound care. Our PatientConnect platform and logistics services are meticulously designed to enhance care delivery and optimise patient outcomes.
“This partnership aims to elevate the standard of wound care management, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care from the comfort of their homes."
Established in 2012, HRS has been providing care to a wide range of health-related institutions across the US and Canada.
HealPrecisely operates speciality clinics in the Tampa Bay area, Florida, and is known for its expertise in managing complex wounds using advanced therapies.
These therapies include modern dressings, biological and cellular therapies and negative pressure wound therapy.
HealPrecisely chief operating officer Lori Salley said: "HealPrecisely is known for its unmatched clinical outcomes, achieving a 98% full recovery rate for our patients, while also healing twice as fast as the national average.
“By integrating HRS's advanced RPM technologies and services into our care model, we are confident that this innovative partnership will enhance both our current in-clinic and mobile care delivery models, setting a new benchmark in wound care management."
