eClinicalWorks has revealed that Healing Hands Ministries (HHM) Health, a federally qualified health centre in the US, is leveraging Sunoh.ai to enhance clinical documentation.

The integration aims to save clinicians time and allow them to concentrate more on patient care.

Sunoh.ai is an EHR-agnostic and its multilingual AI scribe feature is particularly beneficial for bilingual providers, aiding them in generating documentation while engaging with patients from various ethnic backgrounds.

It simplifies the clinical documentation process by organising summarised content into distinct sections of progress notes.

This allows healthcare providers to swiftly review, adjust, and incorporate the necessary content.

HHM Health internal medicine, infectious disease physician Dr Scarlet Herrarte Fornos said: “Working in the infectious disease department, I run numerous labs and typically receive around 250-400 labs daily. With Sunoh.ai, I can review my lab inbox much faster, which facilitates better clinical decision-making.

“Sunoh.ai has also improved my patient interactions, which is especially important with young patients. Ultimately, the time-savings have really improved my work-life balance, allowing me to finish work on time and spend quality time with my family without carrying work home.”

The AI scribe's capabilities extend to capturing details of lab results, procedures, imaging, medication orders, and follow-up visits.

eClinicalWorks CEO and co-founder Girish Navani said: “We aim to reduce cases of provider burnout with innovative AI solutions. It’s thrilling to see our clients, such as HHM Health, enable their healthcare providers to reclaim time in their busy days. We are elated to be at the forefront of this transformation in healthcare.”

The AI scribe now integrates with eClinicalMobile and eClinicalTouch applications.

These apps are compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, as well as iPads, facilitating access to the medical AI scribe across various devices.
