Hillsboro Area Hospital in Illinois, US, has rebranded to Hillsboro Health and expanded its service offerings and efforts to modernise the existing facilities.
Through this strategic move, the hospital aims to boost its growth, ensure local access to health care, and introduce additional services to address the community's needs.
The rebranding emphasises Hillsboro Health's commitment to providing comprehensive care.
As a significant aspect of its expansion, Hillsboro Health has also inaugurated a new primary care clinic in the Douglas-Telfer Building at 1220 E. Tremont Street in Hillsboro, Illinois.
Health care providers, including Michael Koeppen and family nurse practitioner, certified (FNP-C) Katie Wollerman, have started treating patients at this new facility.
Hillsboro Health CEO Michael Alexander said: “This project is the next step in our long-range plan to provide a greater range of health and wellness services to our community.”
“By opening a primary care clinic and planning upgrades to our outpatient surgery facility, we want to go beyond being a great hospital. We want people to choose Hillsboro Health the next time they need care.”
Hillsboro Health is an independent 25-bed, not-for-profit, critical access hospital specialising in providing a wide range of services, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care.
The organisation also provides primary and speciality care, therapy services, a fitness and aquatics centre, and assisted living facilities.
In addition, Hillsboro Health is dedicated to providing care in a healing and wellness-promoting environment, adhering to the required patient safety standards.
According to Hillsboro Health, its latest rebranding effort extends beyond a new name and logo, maintaining the organisation's status as a local, independent hospital.
The rebranding affects several entities under Hillsboro Health, including Hillsboro Health Primary Care, Hillsboro Health Specialty Clinics, and Hillsboro Health Therapy Services, previously TeamWork Rehab.
It also includes Hillsboro Health Assisted Living, formerly called Tremont Ridge Assisted Living; Hillsboro Health Foundation, formerly Hillsboro Area Health Foundation; and Hillsboro Health Fitness & Aquatics, previously Fusion Fitness & Aquatics.
