Holmusk, a global behavioural health real-world evidence company, has partnered with Streamline Healthcare Solutions to introduce Holmusk's Management and Supervision Tool (MaST) to the US market.
MaST is a software platform that leverages predictive analytics to assist healthcare professionals in making informed decisions, which includes focusing on individuals facing a mental health crisis.
This tool is claimed to extract relevant information from patient electronic health records quickly, aiding providers in resource allocation and improving the quality of care while generating efficiency savings.
Mental Health Partners co-CEO Dixie Casford said: “This dynamic tool also enables us to extend beyond an evaluation process once limited to the sample size of our EHR.
“We can now leverage data digested from a sample set that extends across the world, better positioning us to more accurately identify markers that benefit treatment and furthering our mission to deliver the best possible care to our patients.”
The initial phase of the partnership will involve implementing MaST within Mental Health Partners, a network of behavioural health clinics in Colorado that already uses Streamline's SmartCareTM Behavioral Health EHR platform.
MaST claims that it has already demonstrated success in the UK resulting in significant cost savings and improved community care.
One notable feature of MaST is its risk of crisis algorithm, which helps behavioural health providers prioritise their caseloads based on individual needs.
Holmusk founder and CEO Nawal Roy said: “We look forward to the continued partnership with Streamline Healthcare Solutions, and the new collaboration with Mental Health Partners as we expand MaST’s presence in the US.
“We have seen how valuable this tool has been for health systems in the UK, and we are excited to see similar results for our US partners.”
