Innova Primary Care, a primary care practice in Huntsville, Alabama, has reported decrease in expenses and rise in operational efficiency by implementing eClinicalWorks' health IT solutions, including eClinicalTouch and V12.

According to the vendor, these solutions have allowed the practice to streamline its operations and enhance patient care.

Innova Primary Care CFO and director of healthcare experience David Uptagrafft said: “Since 2012, eClinicalWorks has met our health IT needs as we continue expanding our practice.

“One of our core values is embracing new technology to drive efficiency and fuel our growth, and with the help of V12 and eClinicalTouch, we have done just that.

“We are excited to open our second location next month and switching to eClinicalTouch is helping us by reducing costs and operational burdens.”

eClinicalTouch, which runs on iPads, provides mobile documentation capabilities, secure access to patient data, and enables telemedicine visits.

Upon this deployment, Innova Primary Care has been able to avoid costly hardware purchases and training, streamline appointment scheduling and prescription management.

The practice also has access to eClinicalWorks Scribe, an AI-based speech-to-text software, which helps create accurate and comprehensive progress notes, thereby reducing administrative burdens.

eClinicalWorks CEO and co-founder Girish Navani said: “At eClinicalWorks, our primary goal is to bring value to our customers through healthcare IT solutions that enable proactivity and growth.

“Practice growth validates that our solutions are helping more patients across the country receive the quality and cutting-edge care they deserve.”
