Healthcare-centric private equity company InTandem Capital Partners has made a strategic equity investment in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care provider OrthoNebraska.
The investment amount was not revealed.
With locations spanning Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri, US, OrthoNebraska offers surgical and non-surgical intervention.
It provides emergency, spine care, non-surgical treatment, imaging, joint replacement, physical and occupational therapy, orthopaedic urgent care, non-operative pain management, sports medicine, podiatry, and surgical services.
The company added a further six physicians, including interventional spine, podiatrists, and pain management physicians, in the last six months.
It plans to hire more physicians before the end of this year.
InTandem Capital managing partner Elliot Cooperstone said: “We are incredibly pleased with the great success the physician leadership and management team have demonstrated through their delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.

For the transaction, Houlihan Lokey acted as the exclusive financial adviser for InTandem Capital while Goodwin Procter was the legal counsel.
Koley Jessen was the legal counsel for OrthoNebraska while Quadriga Partners was its financial advisor.
