AI-driven HIPAA-compliant automation platform for healthcare Keragon has announced its launch with a $3m investment.
The funding was spearheaded by Focal and Afore, with additional support from 25 Madison Health - Lifepoint Health.
This development marks the introduction of what is claimed to be the first no-code workflow automation platform tailored specifically for healthcare in the US.
The platform is already in use by a diverse range of healthcare providers, from individual practices and clinics to fast-growing digital health startups and hospitals and companies across all 50 US states.
Furthermore, the system allows for seamless integration with a variety of widely used healthcare software, including electronic health records (EHRs), healthcare customer relationship management systems (CRMs), AI medical scribes, and tools for appointment scheduling and billing.
Keragon's built-in personalised AI assistants are designed to streamline automation, reducing the effort and complexity involved.
The platform empowers healthcare professionals, particularly those without technical expertise, to create sophisticated automation.
These automations are claimed to significantly cut operational expenditures, enhance clinical efficiency and patient care while reducing physician burnout.
With more than 100 pre-built healthcare integrations, data transformation helpers, and advanced error debugging features, Keragon stated that it is poised to expedite digital transformation within the healthcare sector.
The platform's typical applications include facilitating communication between clinical and marketing teams, cutting down cognitive workload by managing real-time appointment triaging, and alerting stakeholders via SMS and emails among other messaging options.
It also enhances patient data interoperability among disparate healthcare software systems that are not interlinked.
