US-based mental health care provider Lyra Health has established a vendor relationship with Children's Hospital Association (CHA) to offer mental health services to CHA member hospitals.

CHA focuses on advancing paediatric health through innovation in cost, quality and care delivery.

The partnership gives CHA member hospital employees and their dependents preferred access to Lyra Health's evidence-based mental health offerings.

It is intended to enhance the wellbeing of hospital staff and their families, acknowledging the critical role of mental health support in the healthcare sector.

Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Benefits programme manager Andrea Billings said: “Lyra’s clinician-led workshops, specifically designed for those exposed to trauma and distressing events, have been instrumental in helping our team members understand the impact of the trauma and give them evidence-based coping strategies to improve their overall wellbeing.

“Our organisation thinks a lot about ways to combat burnout, compassion fatigue, trauma, and other psychosocial stressors facing our workforce.

“Working with Lyra has helped us support our employees with every aspect of their mental health and empowered us to promote a safer workplace for all.”

Lyra Health aims to transform mental health care delivery through its AI-powered provider matching, personalised support and digital platform.

Its services are tailored to meet the needs of individuals at every life stage, providing support for children, teens, adults, couples and families.

Lyra Health chief revenue officer Sean McBride said: “Lyra and CHA understand the critical need to provide healthcare workers and their families with easy access to life changing mental health care, from wellness and preventive care to support for the most severe conditions.

“We are honored to support the employees and dependents of Stanford Medicine Children’s Health and Children’s Minnesota, and many other healthcare organisations, and we look forward to engaging with CHA member hospitals to support their people and their families.”
