North Memorial Health, a health system based in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, has chosen Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite to enhance its operational efficiency.

By consolidating finance, supply chain, and HR processes in the cloud, the health provider aims to reduce costs and improve both employee and patient experiences.

North Memorial Health operates 26 specialty and primary clinics, two hospitals, and medical transportation services in the Twin Cities metro area.

With this deployment, it aimed to replace its 14 disparate business systems with a unified cloud suite of applications.

After thorough evaluation, North Memorial Health selected Oracle Fusion Applications to eliminate manual processes, enhance operational speed and accuracy, and provide staff with valuable insights to redefine healthcare.

North Memorial Health chief information officer Brad Newton said: “Our previous systems were complex and costly to maintain, created more work for employees, and made it difficult to gain an accurate view of the business.

“Oracle Fusion Applications will enable us to consolidate business processes in the cloud to reduce costs, improve business insights, increase automation, and enhance the employee experience.

“As a result, Oracle will help us look at healthcare differently by enabling our frontline and back-office staff to focus their time on what’s most important – our patients.”

North Memorial Health is deploying Oracle Fusion Cloud’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM), and Human Capital Management (HCM).

These applications enable North Memorial Health to leverage cloud technology for breaking down organisational silos, standardising processes, and managing critical data related to financial, HR and supply chain aspects on a unified platform.

The quarterly update cycles of Oracle Fusion Applications will also provide access to continuous innovation for the healthcare system.

Oracle applications development executive vice president Steve Miranda said: “Healthcare workers operate in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

“The last thing they should worry about is navigating complex business applications.

“With Oracle Fusion Applications, North Memorial Health will be able to leverage embedded automation and AI capabilities to support efficiency and empower employees to deliver the highest quality of care to patients.”
